Baby Boy Easel Card and Bird Shaped Card!

Hi cut file fans! I'm up on Lori Whitlock's blog today with a couple cute boy cards for you!

First up I have this awesome ducky easel card. This was so much fun to make. I used Lori Whitlock's Little Man collection for Echo Park paper for all my paper.

I added some small touches: a border sticker, twine bow, and a doily. Voila. This card is ready for my friend's new baby boy!

Next up we have this shaped bird card. This cut is so versatile: boy or girl baby card, happy bird-day card, hello friend, congratulations, baby shower card.. really the list goes on. But I needed a little boy's birthday card so I again grabbed Lori Whitlock's Little Man collection for Echo Park paper and went to work! :)

This cut file is fast and simple. I just added a twine bow, some inking, and some faux stitching. Easy peasy and totally cute.

Bunnyville 3D house

Hellooooo out there! I am here to make your day a little hoppier! :) How cute is the bunnyville collection!?! adorbs.

I wanted to do something 3D with this collection for my girls to really wonder at and play with. I think little details are what makes that happen. Do you see the jelly bean enamel sprinkles around the door?

There are also these ridiculously cute bunny enamel sprinkle shapes with this collection. I decided to have one peek through the window. And why shouldn't there be Easter eggs in the carrot garden? :)

This is actually a box! I know my girls will love hiding things inside.

Thank you for hanging out with my bunny friends and I today! I hope you make some of your own home decor for this Easter! I'm planning on making a few more houses to have a little "village". :)

Lori Whitlock's March Blog Hop - St. Patrick's Day

Hello and welcome to another Lori Whitlock blog hop! :) You should have gotten here from the fabulous Tya's blog, but you should start HERE at Lori Whitlock's blog.

Since St. Patrick's Day is coming I wanted to use some of Lori's shamrock-themed files. :) I used two. The shamrock shaped card can be found HERE in Lori's store and the other card can be found HERE.

I had such a great time making this shamrock shaped card. A little of this and a little of that and shazam! Instant cuteness.

The super fun part was that my littles (just turned 2 and 3.5) INSISTED on me making doubles for them. So they got their own cards to decorate as well using these files. This is such a great way to get the little people involved and to make cards for grandma! Give it a try.

Here is the second card. The only manipulation I did to this card was to highlight the shamrock, circle, and scalloped circle and I enlarged them. I really liked the large focal point.

I added a mini doily, some twine and an epoxy shamrock. Easy. I love how easy Lori's files make it.

Here are the Silhouette files:

Swiss Dots!!!

Hi my doodlebug friends! My best friend is re-doing her bathroom. She is a single mom of two, a doctor in the air force and now some kind of construction/woodworking aficionado and I am SO proud of her! So I wanted to make a card for her when she finished construction on her bathroom. :) Don't ever forget that you can send cards for quirky reasons too! :)

So... I am a rub-on newbee but I love doodlebug's rub ons! They made it so super fun for me to make this card and to create any phrase I wanted to! I started at the end and worked my way backwards.

I embellished with these super sweet glitter sprinkles! Aren't they cute bubbles!?! They are actually part of the winter collection named "Polar Pals". I thought their sparkly nature made them perfect bubbles!

Check out that adorable duck!!! Polka-dot galore!

I finished off my sweet card with a twine bow. She clearly needed a little flair in the tub! :)
